Newborn Group

Newborn Group is a peer support group for parents of newborns, generally up to 6 months or so, but no-one will be turned away. The purpose of Newborn Group is to be able to meet other parents who are going through the same life stage and monumental transitions, to share stories and strategies and to develop friendships. There is no set agenda for what is discussed and that will be determined each session by the group itself.

The group is facilitated by Abby with Sumbler Birth Services.

About the facilitator: I’m a doula with 2 years of experience, and I am a member of the Lansing Doula Network. I’m a mom of 2. I have been coming to Willow Tree since my first child was a newborn and I am proud to keep this group going.
